Comments: Featuring the entire show from Stadio Braglia, Modena, Italy on July 8 '88, it showcases Dave Gilmour's attempts at Italian, and a band that was in good shape that night and clearly enjoying themselves (Gilmour almost burst out laughing at the start of One Slip's second verse). This is definitely a recommended purchase; the onely drawback being the compiler's poor research - One Slip, for instance, is credited to Waters/Gilmour! -TAP (#50)
This is a excellent CD, with very reasonable sound quality (althoug the audience can be clearly heard at certain points). -TAP (#50)
Lots of great solos from Gilmour. It's all there, what more is there to say. -TOR
Good sound quality marred by a tinny tone and audience noise. Listenable and enjoyable, though. -ECM
The sound quality of this cd is superb and this boot is what the Delicate thound of thunder was supposed to be. No dubbing an absolute direct digital live recording of Pink Floyd. One of the best ROIO's I've ever heard. The CD comes with a 16 page full color booklet with info and photo's about the band the text of the booklet is in English and Italian. -GREG
If you like '87-88 tour ROIO, this is for you: a very good performance (all the italian dates were particularly remarkable), and you can find all the entire set, without cuts. The sound quality is faultless. Respect to the corresponding LP, is true that this is another source, better sounding but with more audience presence. Don't let it go. -PELLE
One of the few with the complete set list of the tour. The usual italian clapping is present in several songs, and some guy next to the taper screaming money!!, even after money was already performed!. The best from 88 if you ask me. - FERNANDO.
